Our Foster Parents are lifesavers
Foster volunteers temporarily care for eligible animals until they are ready for adoption. We commit to evaluating all animals medically and behaviorally before making them eligible. All animals have undergone a mandatory 2 week quarantine before becoming eligible for foster. All food and any medications or treatment are provided by Do Good Dog Rescue, as we are able. There are times the foster home may have to purchase items for an animal in their care. This is considered a donation to Do Good Dog Rescue and we are happy to provide an acknowledgment.
Any medical treatment is provided by the Do Good Dog Rescue, as long as the pet is brought to one of our veterinary clinics. We do not reimburse for treatments provided at private veterinary clinics. If a personal pet contracts an illness from a foster pet, we will not cover the expense to treat your pet.
We have both short-term and long-term foster opportunities. Contact us below to learn more about the process of becoming a foster parent.
